Coney Island | Mermaid Parade

The Mermaid Parade is usually held on the first Saturday that marks the beginning of the summer season. This year's Saturday was nothing like how summers should be like, yet New Yorkers didn't care and hundreds or maybe thousands of people were in Coney Island for the Mermaid Parade.

This was my first year to see the event, was fun with lots of interesting outfits and people... at some point it feels like another Halloween specially made for summer or sea related! Here are some of the photos from last Saturday.
